As the neighborhood’s unofficial “Kool-Aid mom,” I soak up every minute that my home is alive with laughter and sticky-handed visitors. When I’m not helping run lemonade stands, watching my boys play baseball, or seeing my daughter jump horses, I write and help other writers. Studying at the Colson Center deepened my commitment to integrate faith, craft and service, which inspired me to found The Writing Room.
