As the neighborhood’s unofficial “Kool-Aid mom,” I soak up every minute that my home is alive with laughter and sticky-handed visitors. When I’m not helping run lemonade stands, watching my boys play baseball, or seeing my daughter jump horses, I write and help other writers. Studying at the Colson Center deepened my commitment to integrate faith, craft, and service, which inspired me to found The Writing Room. I am passionate about creating beautiful stories, doing meaningful work, and living a faith-filled life. I love working with my talented team who offer hands-on support to help writers thrive. A Seed’s Story
Small, forgotten, and stuck beneath the dark ground’s surface, Sally the seed believed she was a piece of dirt. Seasons came and went while she just sat there. Long, cold winters. Hot, boring summers. Repeating themselves over and over. Then, one spring day, everything changed. A gardener revealed the truth about Sally’s identity and purpose. As he spoke, she felt something wonderful stir inside her for the very first time. Maybe she wasn’t meant to stay buried forever and destined for something more.
